Path of Exile
This is a new game that just started open beta a few days ago on 24 January 2013. People say this game is like diablo 3 but I never played diablo 3 before so I didn't know. The game is an action rpg but you can move by your mouse only. There is no asdw movement which is kinda weird but still playable. The game is pretty neat with quite good graphic but I really don't care much about the graphic as long as the game is fun.
The game is basically is instances not an open world. There are towns where you can see other player to find party or to trade but when you enter instances you're on your own or you with your party. There are 6 classes in path of exile; marauder, ranger, witch, duelist, templar and shadow. Right now, I'm trying with duelist and focus on dual blade. You can learn your skill by finding gems. Your tree is basically your passive skills which a lot like final fantasy 10 and 12. There are 1350 skills in the tree which is massive. All classes have the same tree but the starting point is different, so you can play around to create you own unique skill classes.
As of right now, my character is only level 16. Got to fight a few boss and the game is pretty challenging. Your character is an exile thrown out to the sea but survive. You met with other exile in town and you tried to help them while surviving yourselve. The game is smooth, no lags for me when my internet is ok, so I'm happy. For those who like to play rpg than give this a game a try. Who knows you might like it.
