Kurogane
Kurogane is manga about kendo. The main character name is Kurogane thus the manga name. He is basically weak at sport, no stamina but have exceptional eyesight. He has tried every sport and been bad at them. One day, he met with a ghost under sakura tree. The ghost had attacked every student in order to find a disciple to pass on her teaching in sword. Kurogane just manage to dodge the attack, thus been haunted by the ghost in order to learn sakura technique in sword.
Kurogane dreamed to be a hero in his life. Since the ghost whose named is Sayuri, he managed to enter the kendo club and learn the way of sword. He has low stamina, therefore his technique in kendo is counterattack. He relied in enemy strength to counterattack them. Sayuri technique is basically for women, who had lower strength compared to men. Sayuri want to preserve the technique in present time, that is why she didn't moved on.
The manga story is pretty interesting especially if you like sport type manga. Kurogane now is entering competition with his member clubs and try to win with their third year sempai (the same with eyeshield 21). He start weak by step by step he become much stronger which is typical sport type manga but still engaging and fun to read. Try it, who knows you might like it.
