Tomie Unlimited Movie

The short stories in Junji Ito's popular Tomie horror manga series centered around an enigmatic girl who appears again and again in various people's lives and haunts them until their eventual end.

In this eighth live-action Tomie theatrical film, 19-year-old actress and occasional manga creator Miu Nakamura plays Tomie herself. 15-year-old actress Moe Arai plays Tsukiko, a girl whose older sister is mysteriously revived after an accident.

The last Tomie film, Tomie vs. Tomie, opened in Japan in 2007. Other actresses who have played the heroines in the Tomie franchise include Aoi Miyazaki (NANA) and Sayaka Yamaguchi (Nodame Cantabile in Europe), while Miho Kanno (Hataraki Man) and Miki Sakai (SaiKano) have played the title character herself. (Besides the eight films, there has also been a live-action television adaptation.)

Djokovic outplays Federer to reach fourth Grand Slam final

Ever since Novak Djokovic landed in Perth just a few days after Christmas, he has pushed himself relentlessly. Not for him the two-week break in the Bahamas, or a pat on the back for the feats of 2010. Instead he trained, and trained, and trained, leaving himself hardly enough time for his hair to grow back after shaving it all off in an on-court bonding experiment as Davis Cup champions. He sprinted, he sweated, he worked, all in aid of making the transition from sometime threat and one-Slam man. He is already one of the best tennis players in the world. That's not enough. He wants to be the best.

And this evening, he proved that he can be. His demolition of Roger Federer in three sets in their Australian Open semifinal was nothing short of startling. It is not often that one sees Federer the great sweat, or look angry, or annoyed, or take a bathroom break. But he did all of those this evening as he fought in vain to stem the inspiration seeping from Djokovic's every pore.
Admittedly, the characterful Serb had won the duo's previous meeting, at the same stage of the 2010 US Open. But that was a five-set epic, one that required Djokovic to save two match points as he scrabbled and scrapped his way to his second US Open final. And, it was against the pre-Annacone Federer, the one who used to get stuck into long rallies he was prone not to win, not the one who has been shortening points with sprints to the net, outlandish winners, and pure Federer magic.

All that was irrelevant. From the moment the coin was tossed, Djokovic threw everything at Federer, the forehand, the backhand, the serve, the volley. Sometimes it didn't work, like in the opening game, where he found himself facing the first of 10 break points. But most of the time, it did.

It is well known that Federer likes to be a front-runner. To take the momentum away from his opponents, and crush them into submission until they've run completely out of will or wisdom. He has never come back from two-sets-to-love down against a top 20 opponent.

And so Djokovic's strategy was simple. Do a Federer on Federer, and hope that it succeeded before he ran out of puff, or hope that all the training would mean he wouldn't run out of puff.
The pair played cat and mouse tennis in the first set, not just in the way they conducted their points, but the way they conducted their service games. Djokovic held to love, Federer held to love. And so on. And so to the inevitable tiebreak. As Andy Murray would tell you, a tiebreak against Federer is an agonising thing. You have to seize your chances when they come gift-wrapped to you, because otherwise you'll spend the next few points kicking yourself in the shin, and the set will be gone.

Not so Djokovic. The gift came on the third point, Federer stretching for a forehand that hit the net and bounced backwards. Just the one mini-break. But it proved decisive. Holding both his service points, the crowd were treated to the first of his hand-on-heart fist pumps as he extended that lead to 5-2. Three points later, the set was his.

15-odd minutes later, he was also a break up. Dangerous ground when you have Roger Federer on your tail. And so it proved, the Swiss finally gaining some oopmh, breaking back, and flurrying through the next series of games to lead 5-2.

But then he got loose. Maybe felt like he was right back in it before he was. You could forgive him that, it's happened so many times before. And Djokovic was ready to take advantage. Pushing and peppering the Federer backhand in the way that has been so successful for Rafael Nadal, he yielded a frame or two, and then, on break point, Federer played a drop shot. That was when we saw just how much Novak Djokovic wanted this win. He tore after the ball, clunking it down the line.

With new oomph in his adidas shoes, the Serb held serve to level the set, winning the game after charging down another drop shot, tipping an angled backhand away from Federer's flailing racket. Flying by the seat of his Tacchini's Djokovic kept on going, surviving a 20-shot rally on the Federer serve, yielding another shank, and converting the last of four break points. As the Swiss hit the 30-unforced error mark, Djokovic served his way to a two-sets-to-love lead, tipped his head back, and roared.

Many people in such a position against a man who has broken practically every record in the tennis annuals might stop and give themselves a brief pinch. Never a good idea, as anyone who has been on the end of a Federer comeback would attest. Not Djokovic.
Saving three break points in his first service game of the set, the Serb spun the bottle, and came out and broke. The Federer comeback came again, the Swiss breaking back for 4-4, but that was as far as it went. Whether it was belief on the Serb's part, or dis-belief on the Swiss's part, Federer hit his 43rd error, and Djokovic broke back.

It was over moments later. Novak Djokovic's seventh win against Federer, his second in straight sets at a major, and safe passage to a fourth Grand Slam final.

"It's hard to say really, you don't know if you're feeling excited because you're one game away from a Grand Slam title, and wining against Roger, he puts a lot of pressure on you," said Djokovic. "I had to take my chances, the second set I was a break up and in 20 minutes I was 5-2 down, if I would lose that second set, God knows which direction the mach would go."
"I'm just happy to play my best tennis. Australian Open is a special tournament because there are a a lot of nations, it's nice, sometimes you feel like you're in a football match, and for us players it's unusual but it's great, to get that support."

"I'm looking forward to watch that match tomorrow from my bed, they're both great players, David played a fantastic match against Rafa yesterday, Andy has been playing really well. It's a Grand Slam final, anything can happen."

Novak Djokovic did many things extraordinarily well tonight. But there was one thing in particular - he just did not stop running.

How to Choose the Right Outdoor Cat Enclosure

Cats enjoy being outside - whether we want them outdoors or not.  When forced to be inside exclusively, many cats will find ways to sneak out; when let out all the time, cats are more likely to bring back birds and rodents, get in fights, and possibly be stolen, run-over, or otherwise abused.  Fortunately, there is a happy medium available that allows cats to enjoy the great outdoors while also staying within your backyard.  Welcome, my friend, to the world of outdoor cat enclosures.
Outdoor cat enclosures, and various other types of cat cages, fencing, and backyard systems, are designed to offer a safe, controlled place for your cat to be outside, enjoy the fresh air, and watch the birds go by.  Below I'll walk you through the various types of outdoor cat enclosures and give you some tips on choosing your own.

Types of Outdoor Cat Enclosures
An outdoor cat enclosure can be pretty much anything you want it to be - it can be large or small, custom or generic, built by someone else or designed by yourself.
There are some major classifications of outdoor cat enclosures that are available to the masses, however. These types include:
  • Cat Tents
  • Netted cat enclosures
  • Multilevel, prefabricated cat cages
  • Wall-hugging cat enclosures
  • Freestanding cat cages

10 Easy Tips To Eat Your Way To Lower Cholesterol This Month

So you have high cholesterol and need to lower it? That is no surprise considering how many people have high cholesterol these days. To help lower your cholesterol, here are 10 tips you can get started with today.

As with anything health related, diet and exercise are the two crucial components. What you eat is critical to lowering your cholesterol levels, so that is what is included here.

One thing you should know is the difference between LDL and HDL cholesterol. Simply think of HDL as "healthy" and LDL as "lousy." HDL can actually help carry cholesterol out of your blood vessels while LDL allows it to deposit inside your artery walls.

The good news is that you can change your cholesterol for the better. Here is how to do just that:

1. Have a nice sandwich on whole wheat bread or a pita with some lean turkey and lots of fresh veggies. Skip the hot dogs, bologna, and salami, and hold the Mayo. All of those are highly processed and filled with fat and cholesterol.

2. Fish, like salmon, is good. Look for wild red salmon varieties, which are very high in Omega-3 fatty acids (good fat.) Also, flax seed is a good source of Omega-3s.

3. Avoid Trans fats! Not only do they raise the lousy LDL cholesterol, they can also lower your HDL levels! Stay away from foods like margarine, shortening, and processed foods containing partially hydrogenated soybean oil.

4. Go ahead, go nuts! Look for walnuts mainly but also try almonds, macadamia nuts, cashews, and pecans. Nuts are high in fat, but it's the good kind. (Also, use natural peanut butter instead of the normal kind which contains unhealthy Trans fats.)

5. Limit desserts and try to eat only the healthier ones like angel food cake, graham crackers, Jell-O, and fat-free frozen yogurt.

6. Eat foods that are high in fiber. Examples include whole wheat bread, oatmeal, fruits, vegetables, beans, and some cereals. (Look for the boxes that say "may help lower cholesterol.")

7. Use the grill. If you're going to have steak or burgers, grill them at home and use lean meat. This practice avoids the grease, is fun, and the meat tastes great.

8. Find a new salad dressing. Most of them are full of Trans fats and cholesterol. Olive oil is good, and maybe add vinegar or lemon juice. Also, skip the bacon bits, croutons, and egg yolks.

9. Go overboard on fruits and vegetables. They contain no cholesterol and they have lots of nutrients like antioxidants.

Here are some examples: green peas, broccoli, cauliflower, apples, oranges, mangoes, papaya, pineapple, tomato, garlic, onions, spinach, water chestnuts, bananas, apricots, blueberries, and kiwi.

10. Avoid fast food like french fries and anything else from the deep fryer. Those foods will raise your cholesterol like crazy, so stay away from the burger joints if you can.

11. Bonus tip: Use spices like pepper and oregano to add flavor to your dishes. They are a healthy alternative to other toppings like Mayo.

That was easy, wasn't it? Just make some of these changes and get plenty of exercise like walking, jogging, swimming, or playing basketball. You will have lower cholesterol in no time!

Things To Do at Phuket Thailand

Phuket Fantasea - This is an amazing show, the number 1 attraction on the Island. I can honestly tell you that there is no way you would be disappointed. I have seen shows in Las Vegas and around the world, and this show is one of a kind. Highly recommended!

Prom Thep Cape - A beautiful view, especially at sunset. Very romantic with breath
taking scenery. Another must see while you visit Phuket.

Live Music - Rock City Nightclub in Patong beach has some of the best tribute bands performing live music from hard rock icons like AC/DC, Metallica and Guns N' Roses.

Phuket Cable Ski
- Wake boarding and water skiing at Phuket Cable Ski, an excellent way to spend a day. Affordable and a lot of laughs.

Big Game Fishing -
You can charter a boat and crew for the entire day, and if you can afford it you will certainly enjoy yourself.

Scuba Diving -
The Similan Islands are rated as one of the top 5 scuba diving locations in the world, day trips and live boards are available.

Spas and Therapeutic massage
- I take full advantage of the fact that I can get a full body massage for anywhere from $5-10USD per hr. You have to be careful about this, often there are more services available than just a massage. It can be very difficult to tell which places are offering a normal massage, or a "full service" massage. For the most part, you won't get a very good massage in a place where they are offering "full service".

Muay Thai - Phuket has become a prime location to train in Muay Thai and mixed martial arts, Tiger Muay Thai is a world famous training facility located in Phuket.

A Simple Guide To Meditation To Help You Deal With Stress

Meditation is one of the techniques used in stress management. A person who is riddled with problems often finds it hard to focus; which often leads to more problems cropping up due to their mistakes. Meditation techniques helps a person achieve a calm state of mind without having to resort to drugs or relaxation tools and implements. Every step to meditation is done in the mind.

Remember that meditation is not a one shot deal. It is almost impossible to attain a calm state of mind in just a matter of minutes, especially if it's your first time at it. It is essential that you keep on practicing meditation until you have conditioned your mind to instantaneously achieve the state just by thinking it.

Here are some steps for a beginner to start with meditation as their Stress Management strategy.

Step 1: Find a Quiet Corner to Start Your Meditation

Distraction is a hindrance to those who are still starting out with meditation. When you close your eyes, your sense of hearing will be twice as good so it is quite possible to hear almost anything in your surroundings that will make it hard for you to concentrate.

For beginners, it is important to start out in a quiet place in your home where noise is non-existent. Close your windows and lock your door. If possible, you can tell everyone in your home to minimize their noise so that you won't get distracted.

Step 2: Ready Your Position

It is advisable for beginners to avoid lying down when practicing meditation. The aim here is not to sleep, and it is a guarantee that you will immediately fall off to sleep if your mind reaches a relaxed state. To stop this from happening, you can start your meditation in a lotus position or you can find a chair you can sit on. Make sure that your back is straight and your hands are relaxed on the armrest or on your lap.

Step 3: Begin Your Meditation with Proper Breathing

A good way to start meditation is to do the proper breathing exercise. You inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth. This way, you can come up with a rhythm that you can easily focus on. Also, the amount of oxygen in your body will be enough to keep you relaxed. Keep practicing your breathing until you can do it easily without having to think about it.

Step 4: Focus On Your Mind

While you are busy with your breathing, you will achieve a state wherein your mind will start throwing images at you. These are mostly in random -- events of the day, future plans, problems and worries, fears and so on. It will be hard to ignore these thoughts and you are not supposed to ignore them. The gist here is to focus on these thoughts without really paying any attention to it.

This might sound hard but a here is a simple example to understand the concept. You know that you have furniture at home -- you can see them clearly with your eyes but you are not really concentrating on it. Focusing on the furniture will usually make you think of its color, its material, how it looks in that part of your home, and more. You need to be able to look at these random thoughts in a detached state -- seeing them clearly in your head but not focusing your attention on it.

There will come a time that these random thought will stop and you will notice that you are already in a blank space in your mind. This is the state you want to achieve during meditation. This is the place where you can think about your problems and focus on it till you can find a solution for it. With this, you have successfully mastered the basics of meditation for your stress management program.

7 Easy Remedies To Soothe Nighttime Heartburn And Indigestion

Who hasn’t bolted upright in the night, awakened by a sudden and terrible burning sensation in the pit of their stomach? Whether you indulged in some overly spicy chili, or overdid it on those late-night leftovers, these quick heartburn remedies will soothe your fiery stomach and help you get back to sleep!

1. The first thing you’ll want to do when you’re awakened by heartburn pain is to stand up. This helps keep the acid at bay while you go and get a full glass of cool water.

2. Drink the whole glass of water, and follow it with a mixture of 1 tablespoon of baking soda, and half a glass of water. Be careful though, if you have high blood pressure or are pregnant, this can cause water retention or increase your blood pressure.

3. DON'T drinks milk or suck on mints to relieve heartburn. Milk might feel nice and cool going down, but it actually contains fats and proteins that cause your stomach to secrete MORE acid and make your heartburn worse! Mints, while they may feel soothing, actually relax the small valve between your esophagus and stomach, whose purpose it is to actually KEEP acid at bay! When this valve is relaxed, more acid can seep up and aggravate heartburn symptoms!

4. This is going to sound strange, but downing a teaspoon of vinegar can help soothe heartburn immediately! Why give your stomach MORE acid when it already seems to have enough, you ask? Sometimes, heartburn is caused as a result of too little acid, and vinegar helps quell indigestion by giving your stomach a little extra juice(no pun intended!) to do its job!

5. Certain foods can cause nighttime heartburn, including: soda pop or beverages with caffeine (which you shouldn’t be drinking before bed anyway!), alcohol, garlic, chocolate (sorry!), citrus fruits, tomatoes and tomato-based products. Avoiding these types of food can help ease your indigestion if you frequently find yourself awakened with that intolerable burning!

6. Eating a banana each day works like an antacid to soothe heartburn. If you’re already stricken with indigestion, eating pineapple or papaya (or drinking the juice) can help settle your stomach naturally. Some people also claim that eating a teaspoon of mustard (yuck!) can work immediately.

7. Avoid eating at least two hours before you go to sleep. Those late night snacks can keep your stomach busy all night and prevent you from easing into a deep, restful sleep. You may also find that sleeping on your left side or sleeping at a somewhat upright angle can keep acid down where it belongs.

If you are awakened by heartburn on a regular basis or the pain is severe, or if you have heartburn with vomiting, you’ll want to consult your doctor immediately as it may be a sign of a more serious condition such as an ulcer. Above all, avoid spicy, fatty and caffeine-containing foods before bed, and you should be able to drift off to sleep easily.

Sweet dreams!
